Clarification Text Regarding the Processing of Personal Data Through the Job Application Form

This clarification text has been prepared by Tera Özel Güvenlik ve Koruma Hizmetleri A.Ş., in its capacity as data controller, in accordance with Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in the Fulfillment of the Obligation to Inform.

The following personal data you share through the job application form will be processed for the purposes stated below:

  • Your identity and contact information: to establish contact with the job applicant and, if the applicant is hired, to prepare the personnel file.

  • Your military status: to determine whether there is any condition that may interrupt the employment during the term of the employment contract, and to ensure compliance with Article 75 of the Military Penal Code No. 1632.

  • Your educational background: to determine whether the applicant has the necessary professional experience and educational qualifications for the job.

  • Additional information: to better analyze your suitability for the job, identify the nature of the requested job, your salary expectations, and whether you are willing to work overtime or in shifts.

  • Reference information: to contact individuals who can provide references about you and determine your suitability for the job.

These personal data are processed in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698.

Your personal data are processed through non-automated means, based on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the Law: “processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject” and “processing of personal data belonging to the parties of a contract is necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract.”

Your personal data may be transferred to judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement agencies, upon request and in accordance with applicable legal regulations, for the resolution of legal disputes or as required by law.
